About Me

Hello! My name is Samantha and I’m an Illustrator with a BFA in Illustration from Northern Illinois University. My work is an authentic reflection of my experience, whether that be my upbringing, my views, or what I find beauty in. I create characters I would’ve liked to see as a child who was entranced by the beauty of animation. I love to use a variety of different emotions to reflect the complexity of each character. Mid-Century concept art has been a big influence on my art for its rich colors and textures. My interest in fashion, storytelling, and art history have also influenced my art. The purpose of my work is to create characters that everyone can resonate with.
